Enterprise Data Governance & Platforms (EDGP) is part of the larger Enterprise Digital and Data Solutions (EDDS) organization. EDGP improves the customer experience and drives business growth through robust enterprise-wide data policies and governance and enabling a data-driven culture, while developing digital and data platforms that provide insightful customer relationships and allow users to leverage enterprise-wide data capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Understand the current on-prem big data platform landscape, drive the target state architecture, and execute the modernization roadmap to public cloud infrastructure

  • Collaborate with product strategy, solution team and technology partners to deliver customer centric solutions best tailored to AXP colleague and customer needs

  • Define the product vision and strategy for the cloud capabilities in close partnership with technology teams and business stakeholders across the enterprise.

  • Function as the primary point of contact to help identify, prioritize and resolve requirements and/ or issues from our business and technology partners

  • Primary responsibility for execution and timely delivery on stated milestones with focus on business goals, quality and user satisfaction

  • Foster an external perspective in delivering solutions via a sound understanding of the industry landscape to drive modernization of existing platforms.

  • Drive day to day Agile based delivery processes across cross functional cross geography teams, which include feature and user story creation, performing user acceptance and managing end user communication

  • Define, measure and report for Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for delivered products and outcomes

Qualification Requirements:

  • 3 years of product owner experience in driving agile development processes to deliver new product capabilities

  • Knowledge of big data platform architecture, data management and newer developments in the industry

  • Strong techno-functional background in data management concepts including data ingestion, metadata management, data security and governance

  • Highly organized and self-motivated individual who can combine problem-resolution, and critical thinking to apply a business lens to design customer-centric solutions

  • Inherent customer focus with an ability to interact with leaders at all levels of the organization

  • Possess a unique blend of business and technical acumen, excellent communication & collaboration skills; ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver on shared objectives

  • Confidence in decision-making in complex & ambiguous situations; comfortable troubleshooting and aligning conflicting interests

  • Degree in STEM fields with work experience in information management, strategy, or the payments business

Qualifications

Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually bonus benefits
