EMS LINQ Product Manager, ERP in Austin, Texas

About the Role:

As a Product Manager for our SaaS based ERP product focused on managing reporting requirements, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our platform meets the needs of our users effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

-Use creative methods to identify compelling, differentiated solutions that effectively address customer needs, align with the business and drive innovation.   

-Participate in team roadmap efforts by defining and prioritizing epics and features that align with the business goals and user’s needs.  

-Effectively manage team backlogs by prioritizing across different categories of work (such as bugs, enhancements, innovation, etc.) and leading through the traditional scrum ceremonies including grooming and sprint planning.  

-Serve as a market expert and voice of the customer by regularly interacting with customers, deeply understanding their challenges and leading discovery efforts. 

-Collaborate extensively within the LINQ ERP Product Team and across various business units (including Engineering, QA, Sales, Support, Client Success, Implementation, UX, and more) to ensure product success, drive successful product releases and foster a robust ecosystem. 

-Stay informed regarding the competitive landscape, identifying opportunities for differentiation to shape product strategy.  

-Serve as an internal subject-matter expert on the product, documenting feature functionality and supporting internal stakeholder inquiries as needed. 

What you bring to the role:

-Minimum of 2+ years’ experience as a product owner or product manager, with a focus on SaaS-based products. 

-Demonstrated proficiency in managing backlogs, gathering and documenting requirements, and collaborating with Development and UX teams to refine and prioritize work for development. 

-Prior experience in interpreting and documenting state compliance requirements and/or payroll taxes is a plus.

-Track record of effectively working with cross-functional teams (such as engineering, QA, sales, support, client success, implementation and UX). 

-Proven ability to drive priorities, manage trade-offs, and tackle complex problems. 

-Demonstrate deep empathy for the customer and end users, with a passion for solving their problems through your product. 

-Strong organizational and project management abilities. 

-Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional environment. 

-Possesses a blend of technical acumen and strategic foresight. 

-Experience in the K-12 education industry is a plus.
