T-Mobile USA, Inc. seeks Senior Engineers, Software Full Stack in Bellevue, WA to critically analyze problems, collaborate with product management to find solutions, and own the delivery of that solution to the end customer. Maintain and enhance full stack web solutions including both the back end and front end. Build scheduled jobs and micro-services. Extend data storage mechanisms using relational and non-relational data stores. Maintain cloud services using infrastructure as code. Present new ideas and utilize new frameworks to improve existing systems, processes, and services. Collaborate with a team to break down features into user stories and estimate them. Stay up to date on current technology benefits and act as a technical system expert. Recognize and apply new industry perspectives to the existing business model. Review existing designs and processes to highlight more efficient ways to complete existing workload through industry perspectives. Write basic documentation on how new features work and create clear documentation for new codes and systems. Continuously contribute to the development of others through mentoring or in-house workshops and learning sessions. Position reports to headquarters at 12920 SE 38th St., Bellevue, WA 98006. Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time. PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, and 3 years of relevant work experience. ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, and 5 years of relevant work experience. In addition, the following skills are required: (1) Conducting full stack web development, including using Vue.js and Node.js to build websites, APIs, and background processing systems; (2) Designing database schemas and writing SQL to interact with both Postgres and Snowflake databases, including writing high performance queries for petabyte scale data; (3) Utilizing DevOps methodology, including writing Terraform templates, building and running Docker containers, managing infrastructure, and writing automation scripts; (4) Using cloud services from AWS, Azure, or GCP to deploy infrastructure and services to development, test, and production environments; and (5) Utilizing knowledge of web protocols, full stack applications operations, and data flow to build high performance, secure web applications. Pay Range: $182,312.00 to $182,312.00 per year. The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience.
