Oracle Principal Automation Engineer QA in BENGALURU, India

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Automation QA Engineers to join Oracle Design Engineering Team. We are looking for 8 to 14 years of automation experience with skills required: TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Selenium, Appium, Jenkins and Performance testing tools. We want people who: work well in teams, think out of the box, work in new tech areas and thrive in ambiguity.

  • You will contribute to the Redwood Component Quality and be part of an innovative, top notch tech team, grow with us and introduce us to new ideas and development.

  • Drive the quality of web components and page templates to help transform the way customers use, configure and personalize our family of apps and services by demonstrating from the Next-Gen of web technologies to machine learning and AI capabilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated suites of tests through continuous integration for valuable feedback.

  • Get along with Designers, Product Managers, Architects, and Developers to clarify requirements, identify / mitigate risks.

  • Challenge team to think through corner cases and possible blind spots.

  • Maximum automation coverage using existing tools and frameworks and extending them as vital.

  • Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Automation QA Engineers to join Oracle Design Engineering Team. We are looking for 8 to 14 years of automation experience with skills required: TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Selenium, Appium Jenkins and Performance. We want people who: work well in teams, think out of the box, work in new tech areas and thrive in ambiguity.

Responsibilities:

  • Automate with various technologies (e.g. Selenium Webdriver, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js), tools (e.g. Jenkins, Kubernetes), solutions and processes to support scalable and repeatable practices.

  • Collaborate in all aspect of the automation development process from requirement gathering through shift left develop-and-test cycles.

  • Design web pages using these components, customize and validate if upgradable and extensible

  • Supports continuous improvement processes, analyzing problems and recommending actions for effective resolution.

  • Help coordinate technical leadership within Architecture, Development, QA, Operations and Release Management teams to enable effective automation.

  • Enforce software engineering standard methodologies and work with the Engineering Management team to forecast, plan and drive team efficiency.

  • Influences and cultivates innovation within engineering groups.

  • Mentor fellow Quality Engineers, evangelizing standard methodologies of automation and technical processes

Desired Qualifications :

  • 8 to 14 years’ experience in automation, and debugging web components, web applications using Selenium, WebdriverIO, Appium

  • Worked on Mocha, Chai frameworks - JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js

  • Should have experience in mobile automation (iOS, Android)

  • Hands-on experience with test planning, script development and execution.

  • Experience in performance testing is a plus.

  • Exposure to SDLC practices of Scrum Agile.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent domain

  • Ability to adjust to competing priorities and allocate your time as vital to get the job done
