Kuehne+Nagel National Human Resources Business Partner in Colombo, Sri Lanka

You will be part of our Human Resources team, providing consultancy + advice across all people related topics on either a vertical and geographic basis.

Your Role

You will work closely with business/functional unit leaders in terms of setting of HR strategy + action plans. Your expertise in employee and HR related matters will be critical as you provide support + advice working alongside the centers of excellence (COE), while at the same time project managing or supporting the roll-out of HR related projects on a cluster or local basis.

Your Responsibilities

  • Championing all aspects of the employee life cycle for Sri Lanka & Maldives and the dedicated Functional Units in IndiaDeveloping + supporting employee engagement + retention strategies.

  • Building + maintaining effective partnerships with internal customers, advising on people management issues, contractual + statutory compliance matters, performance management of disciplinary issues.

  • Liaising with Talent Development Team forimplementation of learning + development interventions includingsupporting the delivery of specific training when required

  • Monitorthe quality of the performance management process, support managersin performance management processEnsuring that all HR information systems are fullyutilized and maintained.

  • Focus on pro-active talent sourcing and talentnetworking. Participate in selection process of key and criticalroles.

  • Providing + analyzing people related data either proactively or on demand.

  • Supporting all HR projects initiated by the cluster.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or PQHRM

  • 5+ years of leadership HR experience, with a focus on HR business partnering.

  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.

  • Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into HR initiatives.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
