Kuehne+Nagel Team Leader Customer Service (m/f/d) in Contern, Luxembourg

We, the Customer Service Team in Contract Logistics in Contern, Luxembourg, are looking for a new Team Leader (m/f/d). Looking forward to your application!

Your Responsibilities

  • Organize workload and monitoring of daily operations within the team;

  • Work closely and pro-actively with the customer to enlarge relationship /customer binding and prepare and lead monthly performance review meetings with the customer as well as prepare and perform presentations to the customer regarding business development and performance, business analysis, KPIs, comparison of different approach/solution, etc.

  • Define ways to add value to customers’ operation by managing customer requests and changing requirements through initiating and supporting continuous improvement projects;

  • Process the orders including master data management within used Warehouse Management System (WMS);

  • Complete monthly billing according to agreements and control of incoming/outgoing invoices;

  • Develop team member’s skills by giving guidance and motivation by continuous training and performance measurement;

  • Play an active role in the improvement of operational processes and further development of the customer service department; #LI-AM4

  • Act as interface between customers, suppliers, team members and within the Kuehne+Nagel organization.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Apprenticeship or studies in logistics and/or specific industry and relevant job experience;

  • Understanding and knowledge of logistics processes and strong affinity with required customer quality standards; Cost consciousness;

  • Familiar with IT/WMS systems; Proficiency in MS Office, particularly excel;

  • Structured and analytical way of working and the ability to work under pressure; Very good communication skills.

  • Management skills and ability to lead a team successfully;

  • Fluency English is required; German and/or French is needed.
