Behavior Specialist - Independent ContractorApprox.10 hours per weekPayrate $45-$55 per hour - placement in the range will be determined based on experience and other factors allowed by lawSeeking a resourceful, independent, and driven person to develop, implement and oversee person-centered behavioral support plans for consumers in day habilitation services. Candidate will provide training to employees who work with the consumer(s) and assist team members concerning behavioral issues. Will be responsible for collecting, compiling and analyzing data to monitor plan effectiveness/need for revision. The successful candidate will work in accordance with agency policies and procedures and collaborate with residential providers to ensure coordination of plans across service domains. Requirements: Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field. Five years’ experience working with developmentally disabled individuals including developing, implementing and monitoring behavior management plans and functional behavioral assessments. Must be skilled in statistical analysis and proficient in Word and Excel; sound judgment decision and making skills; strong communication and writing skills.
