Lockheed Martin Sr, Contracts Management - Level 3 in Fort Worth, Texas

The selected Contracts Management candidate will be responsible for hands-on management and support of contracts, proposals, negotiations, and future contract planning for the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Skunk Works contracts team. This role will negotiate, administer, extend, terminate, and negotiate standard and nonstandard contracts. Serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives. Coordinate solutions to contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance. Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions.

Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Evaluates contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations.

- Maintains communications to ensure timely contract execution by the parties.

- Ensures final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations.

- Plan and participate in training of contract practices and negotiations to company personnel.

- Administering IWTA management and guidance

- Travel to support customer meetings and industry days as required

- Successful candidate must have strong written and communication skills, and the ability to

establish strong working relationships with points of contact throughout the organization.

- Must be able to prioritize multiple assignments in a dynamic environment and ensure activities are well coordinated, executed, and consistent with agreements reached at negotiations.

A level 3 employee Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

- Experience supporting US government contracts with FAR/DFAR or other regulatory requirements

- Must be a US citizen. The candidate must be able to obtain an interim Secret security clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Program access.

- Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college in a related discipline

- First-hand experience leading negotiations on cost, schedule, scope, and terms & conditions

- Experienced supporting multiple contract types and rationale supporting contract type determination (FFP, FPIF, T&M, CPIF, CPFF, CPAF)

Desired Skills:

- Intellectual property knowledge

- Proposal Experience with Multiple Contract Types (FFP, FPIF, CPAF, CPFF, CPIF, T&M)

- Experience developing proposal schedules, working with stakeholders to produce artifacts, and securing leadership approvals to support proposal releases to USG and industry.

-Proficient understanding of the FAR/DFARs and Government Contracting.

- Familiar with DoD customers and/or experience

- Familiar with development programs or other early lifecycle programs

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Top Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
