In anticipation of the contract award, we are seeking Systems Architects who will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Agency Information Management and Software Services (AIMSS) mission by serving as a System and Software Design subject matter experts (SMEs) in support of software development, data management, and lab infrastructure support.

You will provide expert engineering and/or scientific solutions for highly complex technical software applications. You will provide systems architecture design services on all aspects of networks, software architectures, software interfaces, and data flow architectures for complex software applications. You will design, develop, and implement complex hardware, software and database applications or advanced techniques in investigating solutions to system requirements and problems. You will develop, plan, coordinate, and integrate systems-related requirements to support operational needs. You will develop and coordinate contract deliverables and reports. You will prepare management plans and reports. You will lead team members in contract deliverables, task order reviews, and briefings and presentations. You will utilize your skills to lead software applications that are required to support Continuous Delivery pipelines, such as Continuous Exploration, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and Release Management. You will utilize your experience and skills to establish project overall architecture (networks, development environment, and release environment). You will continue to grow in collaborating with Product Owners in a DoD environment.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in engineering, science, or another relevant field

• SQL Server / SQL Server as a Service experience

• Must have an in-scope DoD Security Clearance

• Ability to work on-site at MDA Facilities

• Willing to periodically travel in support of test events.

  Desired

• Experience supporting the US Ballistic Missile Defense System

• DoD Instruction 8570.01M IA certification

• Experience handling classified data

• AWS, Azure, VMWare experience
