Position Description:

Performs complex supervisory, coordinative and management duties in the preparation and publication of printed materials for assigned area. Responsible for the production process and may include scheduling, editing, and design issues. Work is performed under general supervision in accordance with established regulations and procedures.

Major/Essential Functions:

Curriculog platform maintenance, including updating approval processes, routing proposals, deleting proposals, checking on stuck proposals, updating hierarchies and user accounts, running reports, and assisting users. Additional duties include proofreading the catalog, commencement programs, faculty handbook, calendars, and departmental website; assisting with annual and monthly catalog updates; assisting with faculty directory updates; updating office website and final exam pages; Curriculog training for new users; and other duties as needed.

Ability to proofread documents and correct errors in grammar, punctuation, and style; ability to collect, sort, and parse data and records; ability to manage and maintain departmental websites and online catalog/curriculum management platforms; ability to utilize MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to utilize Adobe Acrobat.

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software, including InDesign and Photoshop; ability to lay out publications in InDesign; working knowledge of Curriculog curriculum management platform; working knowledge of the OmniCMS web design platform; ability to operate complex online database and approval process platforms; experience in editing and writing for publications, especially legal and/or technical publications.
