Citigroup Investments Lab Senior Lead in New York, New York

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Investments Lab Senior Lead for its New York, NY location.

Duties: Deliver comprehensive, analytical and highly customized investment strategies with specific actionable solutions for ultra-high-net-worth relationships. Drive results, enable sales, and enhance the bank’s revenue generating efforts in Latin America. Conduct bespoke strategic and tactical asset allocation, portfolio optimization and construction, risk identification, fund and capital market strategies, and statistical modeling. Identify issues, establish the right approach for client analyses and discuss the results directly with clients. Design custom asset allocation, know our “focus list” managers and key products, and communicate clearly to clients Citi Global Wealth’s views and how to apply them to the client’s portfolio. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, Data Engineering, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience within the financial services industry in the job offered or in a related occupation. Five (5) years of experience must include: Modern Portfolio Theory, asset allocation techniques, portfolio simulation, risk analytics, financial markets, and investment strategies; Python, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Hadoop, HUE, Hive, Impala, Impyla, Pandas, Pyspark, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tensor Flow, Keras, Scipy, and Numpy; Data engineering technologies including R and Agile Framework, and visualization tools including Arcadia, Tableau, Qlik, and DASH; Platform applications, including Java, Oracle, SQL, API, and Web services; Working with Fintech and integrating analytical solutions into platforms to increase scalability; Leveraging best practices and globally accepted tracking, documentation, and collaboration frameworks including Git, Bitbucket, and JIRA; Capital Markets and Managed Investment products including derivatives and alternative investments; Financial modelling and statistical analysis tools (Monte Carlo simulation, optimization, and regression); and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning regression, forecasting and clustering algorithms, including Decision Tree, Forest Classifier, K-nearest Neighbor, Bagging Classifier, Naïve Bayes, Support Vector Machines, Stochastic Gradient Descent Classification and Logistic Regression. Must have the ability to read, write and speak fluent Spanish and/or Portuguese. 40 hrs./wk. Up to 20% domestic and international travel required.
