Job Description:

Parsons est à la recherche d’un directeur du développement des affaires incroyablement talentueux pour rejoindre notre équipe ! Dans ce rôle actif, vous assurerez le leadership du développement commercial pour notre secteur de marché à travers l’Europe. Vous construirez des pipelines de vente, comprendrez les négociations commerciales et reconnaîtrez et exploiterez les opportunités de promouvoir l’expertise de la société en matière de conception et d’ingénierie d’infrastructures, de gestion de projets à grande échelle et d’autres services connexes. Ce poste convient à un autodidacte innovant et ambitieux, déterminé à réussir. Il sera possible de voyager pour cultiver des efforts de développement commercial nouveaux et continus.

Ce que vous ferez :

  • Établir et maintenir les contacts avec les clients et élaborer la stratégie de vente.

  • Renforcer les liens d’affaires actuels ; Coordonner les réunions entre les clients et les clients potentiels et les techniciens ou autres personnes clés.

  • Se tenir au courant des tendances générales des affaires, en particulier du climat commercial actuel.

  • Établir et entretenir de nombreux contacts à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur de l’industrie. Assurer le suivi en temps opportun de toutes les pistes possibles.

  • Construire et maintenir le pipeline de vente ; gérer la base de données des ventes dans Salesforce.

  • En étroite coordination avec le groupe régional de direction et d’élaboration des propositions, élaborer des propositions et des présentations de services en réponse aux appels d’offres et fournir des conseils à l’équipe de proposition sur la stratégie de capture.

  • Contribuer à la structure des prix, ainsi qu’à d’autres conditions contractuelles.

  • Négocier des contrats, y compris des ententes de non-divulgation et des ententes de coentreprise.

  • S’acquitter d’autres responsabilités associées à ce poste, le cas échéant.

Quelles compétences requises vous apporterez :

  • Baccalauréat en ingénierie ou en commerce (ou équivalent)

  • Minimum de 7 ans d’expérience diversifiée, principalement dans le domaine du développement des affaires d’une grande multinationale dans le secteur des infrastructures.

  • Une compréhension approfondie des prix des propositions, de la terminologie contractuelle, des négociations avec les clients potentiels, des politiques et des objectifs commerciaux de la société est requise.

  • Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et orale en anglais et en français, y compris d’excellentes compétences en présentation.

  • Une capacité exceptionnelle à représenter favorablement la société, à développer de nouveaux clients et à négocier avec des membres clés d’autres cabinets.

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Business Development Director to join our team! In this active role you will provide business development leadership for our market sector across Europe. You will build sales pipelines, understand business negotiations and recognize and act upon opportunities to promote the Company’s expertise in infrastructure design and engineering, large-scale project management and other related services. This position suits an innovative and ambitious self-starter, determined to succeed. There will be opportunity to travel to cultivate new and ongoing business development endeavors.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Establishes and maintains client contacts and develops sales strategy.

  • Strengthens current business ties; coordinates meetings between clients/potential clients and technical or other key individuals.

  • Keeps abreast of overall business trends, particularly the current business climate.

  • Establishes and maintains numerous contacts within and outside the industry. Follows up in a timely manner on all possible leads.

  • Builds and maintains sales pipeline; maintains sales database in Salesforce.

  • In close coordination with regional leadership and proposals development group, develops proposals and presentations for services in response to invitations to bid and provides guidance to proposal team on capture strategy.

  • Contributes to pricing structure, as well as other contract terms and conditions.

  • Negotiates contracts, including non-disclosure agreements and joint venture agreements.

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business (or equivalent)

  • Minimum 7 years of diversified experience, primarily within the business development realm of a large, multinational company in the infrastructure sector.

  • A thorough understanding of proposal pricing, contract terminology, negotiations with potential clients, and the Company’s policies and business objectives, is required.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and French, including excellent presentation skills.

  • An exceptional ability to represent the Company favorably, to develop new clients, and to negotiate with key members of other firms.
