Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.

Job Summary

As a Logistics Support Specialist - Transportation Motor Pool (TMP), you will be responsible for the development of logistical plans, policies, and procedures necessary to provide support in the logistics areas of supply, transportation, maintenance, and services.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Recommend and coordinate the logistics support structure to perform the logistics functions of the project.

  • Coordinate the interface between logistics functions such as transportation, maintenance, and warehousing to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective support to the customer.

  • Troubleshoot problem areas in logistics and coordinate problem resolutions or recommend solutions to management.

  • Coordinate with customers to ensure desired logistics objectives, priorities, and schedules are met and communicated to management.

  • Analyze work processes and develop metrics for measurement of performance.

  • Coordinate with Environmental, Safety, and other Shared Services functional areas as appropriate regarding logistical functions performed under contract.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of directly related experience.

  • Must have Transportation Motor Pool (TMP) experience.

  • Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
