Job Description

Job Summary:

Product Quality engineer position in Tallinn factory, that produces infra-red cameras.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • identification of components and materials to be subject to incoming inspection;

  • making component and finished product specifications available for Estonian plant functions

  • organizing inspections of non-conforming components during the manufacturing process, inspecting if necessary;

  • analyzing the quality of materials and components supplied and contributing to the continuous improvement of suppliers;

  • communication on quality issues with relevant counterparts;

  • preparation and sending of quality complaints to suppliers;

  • coordination of ECO-s (Engineering change order);

  • handling of customer claims;

  • Evaluation (1010) and Claims (1011) warehouse location management;

  • participation in internal audits as an auditor;

  • preparation of manuals for the control, operation and management system;

  • sample register management;

  • arranging quality training in production;

Job Qualifications:

  • Higher technical education

  • Quality related work experience in manufacturing company, electronics field is beneficial

  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills to identify the source of problems

  • Good English and Estonian language (spoken and written), Russian language (spoken)

  • Good skills of MS Office, experience in SAP is beneficial

  • Ability to work independently and handle tasks simultaneously

  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001/14001
