Work responsibilities
Perform compliance-related activities, specifically monitoring, oversight and training
Ensure that business areas meet and maintain compliance requirements by developing and reviewing new policies, procedures, and training materials
Respond to alleged violations of compliance rules, regulations, policies, and procedures by recommending the initiation of investigative procedures
Maintain and improve company compliance processes and procedures
Risk assessment of existing clients/partners/business projects
Interact with external examiners, auditors, and partners as necessary to answer compliance management or product compliance questions and fulfill documentation requests
Monitor and provide guidance on emerging regulations in the sector
Establish and maintain effective relationships with the Legal and AML/CTF Teams alongside business stakeholders
Perform other duties as required
Requirements
Previous experience working in a financial institution as a compliance specialist
Degree in Law is a plus
Strong and broad understanding of compliance laws, regulations, and industry standards
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; working proficiency in Estonian, and Russian is a plus
Strong sense of responsibility
Willing to learn and develop in the Compliance area
