What you are accountable for:
The Senior Director, Search is an agency leader accountable for overseeing all aspects of the search team process and workflow including the incorporation of search strategy into complex connected, story-driven, full-funnel experiences while bringing marketplace innovation and thought leadership into the agency and to our clients. This role works in close partnership with department heads to build strong relationships across teams while also ensuring our work product is always innovative, following established best practices and flawlessly executed across the organization.
As part of this responsibility, the Senior Director, Search must cultivate a team capable of delivering outstanding customer experiences and outcomes for our clients, driving product growth and advancement throughout the organization.
What you are responsible for:
Internal
Ensure consistency in department’s media plans, which align to initial strategy work, while offering innovation in tactical approach, research driven vendor selection, and defined testing approach
Enable department partnership with analytics & BI teams, lead actionable media insights and outcomes from advanced analytic projects and platforms
Deliver defined optimization approach, ensuring all plans are quantifiably different by close of campaign compared to what was approved
Drive increased profitability across department through innovative workload planning, process evolution, standardization, and utilization
Troubleshoot issues/concerns and work with online partners to resolve as needed
Maintain quality control while ensuring projects and campaigns are executed completely, correctly, accurately, and efficiently for clients
Ensures Search team is accurately tracking all financial processes in a timely manner
Serves as advisor and mentor to planning groups, and leads the team in flawless and accountable execution
Work closely with VP, Global Media Operations & Activation and VP, Search to drive improved process across clients
Exhibit the ability to anticipate and solve problems
Own and foster growth in the relationships with agency partners, where applicable
Customers
Look for and deliver new and innovative solutions to client business issues and challenges, that can take shape of POVs to deliver to client through Client Services
Lead and deliver agency account growth initiatives
Translate marketing goals and brand positioning into viable media communication strategies and ideas across paid search landscape
Drive high-value customers to interact with our clients’ products and services
Discover and deliver new and innovative solutions to executing paid search campaigns based on specific client business issues and challenges
Work closely with account and media leads to ensure strong senior client relationships on select group of accounts
Acts as core participant in development and delivery of agency RFP responses and pitches, as applicable
Market Knowledge
Keep pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments
Specialize in topics that require cross-team collaboration; provide agency guidance/POV development as applicable
Ensure search strategic vision and work is understood and visible to the industry, our clients, and the broader agency
Core understanding and knowledge across digital media landscape and where paid search intersects
Participate and contribute to agency thought leadership initiative, as applicable
Management Responsibilities
Build and foster a team environment that yields strong individual and team performance as well as knowledge sharing
Direct line management, mentoring, and coaching of team ensuring best practices are shared and maintained
Own vendor relationships and cultivate partnerships that will facilitate account growth and performance
Ensure process and activation best practices are used across search team
Support internal training and development initiatives specific to SEM best practices and internal processes

10+ years experience in a digital marketing environment, agency and/or client experience
10+ years experience with paid search platforms
8+ years managing a team of direct reports

Our compensation philosophy is commensurate with the type of teammates we are seeking to join us.
As a fair, equitable, and open company, we have established compensation ranges that are visible and transparent. We use various market and data-driven salary sources to determine a salary range for each role. Your salary is based upon the skills and experience you bring along with the salary range established for your role. The goal is to ensure that Just Global teammates have salaries that are highly competitive, regardless of where they live.
In addition to your base salary and our flexible working policy, you will enjoy market-leading employment benefits that support you as whole human being. You will also have the opportunity to participate in a discretionary non-contractual profit share, which is based on company performance, because when we succeed as a company, we all get to share in that success.
The Salary for this role will range between $161,500 - $195,500 per year.
